Maryln Appelbaum, Ph.D.

Dr. Maryln Appelbaum is known across the world for her powerful strategies with students. She is the author of more than 35 books including her most popular publication with Corwin Press, One Stop Guide to RTI; Behavioral and Academic Interventions. Her presentations are lively, interactive, and packed with information. Maryln has a Masterís Degree in Education, another Masterís Degree in Behavioral Science, and a Ph.D in Psychology. She has more than 30 years experience working on behalf of children. Dr. Maryln has taught in her own schools that she started from scratch in Houston, Texas. Maryln is a unique and dynamic speaker that shares her experiences in the classroom along with her extensive knowledge and background. She is enthusiastic and has the answers you need to handle hard to handle students. She has presented to audiences across the United States as well as abroad. She has appeared on television, radio, and has been quoted in newspapers. She and her son Marty, are co-founders of the Appelbaum Training Institute. They provide training for teachers and administrators across the United States and Canada.
