April Vernon

April Vernon has been a member of the ATI speaking team for 20 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Before joining ATI, April was an early childhood home care provider and a classroom teacher. She has also taught a variety of classes at the university level including Preschoolers with Special Needs, Preschool Assessment, and Preschool Administration. In addition, April worked as a university supervisor mentoring students who were working on their Master's in Early Childhood Education. She is an advocate for children with special needs, has a passion for helping tough kids, and has trained over 150,00 educators at ATI events.
