Things Are Not Always What They Seem
February 15, 2022
One thing we have learned over the years is that things are not always what they seem. Your mind can be like a courtroom when you see something, and make instant verdicts. This can be a good thing because there are times when you have to make snap decisions. For example, if you see a child in danger, you have to take immediate action. However, there are other times, it's important to look at what is really going on. Here's another example. A child who typically behaves appropriately comes into the classroom and behaves in a totally inappropriate way. Later that day, you find out that the parents are getting a divorce. That is a child that needs lots of loving so it’s important to not rush to make a judgment in the courtroom of your mind, and to remember that things aren't always what they seem.
